Responsibilities and Duties

  • Nurture all incoming new business leads through live chat, contact forms, phone calls and emails.
  • Close new business and grow your sales pipeline.
  • Maintain a steady stream of pro-active communication with key clients.
  • Create a personalized approach to getting to know your clients. This may include e-mails and scheduled phone calls.
  • Collect, organize and store pertinent client information into a CRM system (Base CRM).
  • Establish Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) with clients.
  • Perform monthly phone meetings with clients to discuss online marketing campaigns performance.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

  • Educated to college/university degree level or higher.
  • Degree in Marketing or Business Administration is an asset.

Experience:

  • At least 1 year experience managing client accounts for advertising or marketing agency.
  • An understanding of paid digital media including Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads

Beneficial Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of using website analytics tools for statistical analysis and reporting.
  • An understanding of the impact of other online marketing activities (ex. Social Media).

As the Digitial Marketing Specialist you are a marketing GURU that will be working alongside the COO and Director of Communications to facilitate, manage, create and enhance our marketing efforts primarily through webinars and email drip campaigns. This position plays a key role in both creating content strategies to drive engagement and increasing conversions across our SaaS product offerings. In this dynamic role, you will manage our email marketing programs for customer acquisition, retention, product and customer service. You will contribute to email campaigns and strategy, build email templates, write copy, analyze the results, and perform A/B testing to iterate and improve upon results. You will also manage our webinars - both educational and sales. You will be creating webinar content (training and sales copy), promote webinars through Facebook Ads and assist with generating sales through the webinar channel. This role requires you to be a master at leveraging automation tools such as Zapier and requires a deep understanding of email marketing platforms (such as Intercom or Active Campaign).

Essential Duties

  • Strategize, create, manage and enhance the company’s email marketing efforts.
  • Manage and support all aspects of email campaign execution including customer segmentation, testing protocol, and technical execution.
  • Contribute to building our email strategy and email asset design for large marketing campaigns.
  • Strategize, create, manage and enhance the company’s webinar strategies - both sales oriented and educational.
  • Work alongside the COO and Director of Communications
  • Provide weekly reports and insights to the COO on all key metrics
  • Influence and coach content writers to provide high quality content on deadline
  • Investigate and Manage new content formats including online educational videos, podcasts and virtual trainings
  • Write various content pieces as required.
  • Help facilitate proper attribution tracking across all marketing functions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to brainstorm new opportunities for content creation

Education and Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of creating and executing email marketing campaigns required.
  • 1 to 2 years of facilitating, creating and managing webinars.
  • Experience with email automation and email marketing software platforms is a must for this role.
  • Experience managing and growing a large email database.
  • Experience creating email templates quickly and efficiently.
  • Demonstrable experience analyzing campaigns, and demonstrable knowledge of setting up A/B testing as it pertains to email marketing.
  • Experience managing the entire “Webinar Funnel”. From creating email drip campaigns to gathering registrations to crafting creative follow up messages to attendees.
  • Experience with selling high end packages through webinars.
