Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prospect for new business through email, phone calls and social outreach.

Qualifications and Skills

Education:

  • Educated to college/university degree level or higher.
  • Degree in Marketing or Business Administration is an asset.

Experience:

  • At least 2 years experience selling to small businesses over phone, email or social.
  • An understanding of paid digital media including Facebook Ads and Instagram Ads

Beneficial Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of using website analytics tools for statistical analysis and reporting.
  • An understanding of the impact of other online marketing activities (ex. Social Media)
  • Online Advertising (PPC/Display etc), Usability (UX, PR).
  • Knowledge of using multiple support systems (ZenDesk, Intercom.io, Base CRM, Zopim Chat)

Director of Sales and Marketing

Needls is seeking an experienced Sales Leader and Marketing Guru with demonstrated success managing medium sized sales teams and understanding the marketing funnel. This person must also be looking into the future and strive to work towards becoming a top tier executive within our organization. The role will consist of building and managing a strategically focused & consultative sales team of managers and individual contributors, selling needls advertising solutions to advertisers and agencies. This person will manage and guide this team by motivating team members, creating process for tracking sales, retention and key KPI’s as well formalize training and new member on-boarding policies & procedures. This person will also understand all the pieces of the marketing funnel and can get their hands dirty to perfect the existing funnel - from email marketing, company messaging, and nurturing incoming leads to convert to sales.
